Specialist Improvements for B.I.S.F. Steel Framed Houses

On steel framed houses it is important to use materials with good expansion / contraction properties. It is not recommended that sand / mortar mixtures such as Tyrolean or Pebble-dash are used as these can crack with time, allowing water into the main frame of the building and causing RUST.

Cladding

For the perfect finish to your Cladding. why not install new low-maintenance Windows and Doors, there are many different patterns and styles which are available, so that the Customer can achieve a unique visual effect.

Each Window is individually measured, made to order and fitted using only the best quality glass and uPVC materials. The customers can select a variety of openings, and different levels of security, to meet individual needs.

In our picture gallery we have illustrated a BISF house which has recently been renovated with Brick-effect Cladding in Rustica colour. The Customer was uncertain about installing new Windows and Doors at the time that the Cladding was installed, but reconsidered at a later date.

It is simple and easy to add new uPVC Windows and Doors either before the Cladding is fixed, or at a later date.
The Cladding system provides special customised surrounds to trim and finish around all your Window and Door reveals.
These are held in place with secret fixings, and can easily be removed. The old Windows and Doors can then be taken out,
new ones fitted, and then the Cladding surrounds can be re-fixed to provide the same clean and crisp edges to the reveals.

Windows
This cladding job was a total lightweight cladding package, covering new roof, new windows, soffits, new guttering, new lightweight cladding to the upper story, new natural brick to the lower floor, new doors and extensions to the side and front.
This cladding job was a top half only lightweight cladding package, with new roofing, new soffits, new guttering, new cladding and new upper floor windows.
This again is a top floor only cladding package, but this time it was new windows all round, including, new roofing, new soffits and new guttering.
The cladding produces a water barrier, stopping the rain from coming in and moisture to escape so reduces the damp ness some times associated with this type of home.
The cladding insulates both reflecting heat in the summer and retain the heat in the winter.
The way the cladding is fixed to the property allows air to circulate, which helps keep damp out and also helps in insulation your property.
